Just read an article from The New Paper. Some mother worte to the forum to complaint Singapore Pools of not being flexible enough for punters carrying infants or toddler to place bets. It is stated bets will not be accepted if punters carry a baby or a small child or those in school uniforms. This is for the good of the young, and just what is this mother thinking? If the rules are lax, and considering the amt of money Singaporeans donate to the Singapore Pools, children if exposed to gambling will think it is okay to gamble. Although it has been said that 小赌宜情, can you imagine what will hapen in the long run when children see their parents or caregivers going into stations to place their bets? Duh..... *rolleyes* Moral of the story? 没本事就不要赌,都是为了你好。。。 :p
Read another article, it is on "weekend" parents and kids. They called it the 5+2. No thanks to the competitive environment and the consumerism society we are in living today. Dual income is a must for the majority of the people. Nowadays young couples have their own social lives and of cos spent a lot of time on their career and leave the "dirty" jobs or responsibilies of child raising to their parents where incidentally are the default caregivers, or the maid, for tt matter. Bring the children home and spending only the weekends with them and expect the small ones to be close to you..... my foot k? Why the fuck have children when you dun have time for them? Like the saying goes "Ai piee, Ai Qiee, Ai dua liap ni" (want cheap, want fresh, want big breasts). Want the joy of having children without sacrificing your social life and lifestyle...TKK lor....
Kaozzz..
