Casablanca

Just watch this classic on okto. Sweet story, beautiful actress....

乱世儿女,恩怨情长。我好幸运不是出世在那年代.....

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way - in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.

Charles Dickens, A Tale of Two Cities

It was this song that prompted me to watch this classic

"Casablanca - Bertie Higgins"

I love this song, or the 80's love songs for that matter.

I love all things classic.. including these black and white movies. Though they look outdated compared to our modern technology, there is something special in them. Maybe it's the songs, maybe it's the charisma of the actors or maybe just simply the effects of black and white that rouses nostalgic feelings.

I love their hairdo, I love their dresses, I love their makeup... hmm... maybe I should be in a museum... :p

Pearl Bank Apartments

Have heard abt this condo project from various medias. Always wanted to see for myself. Finally got a call today to the location. Was very breezy and really nice view. Too bad the patient came down from her room herself. Would have like to go up and kaypo the house a bit... :p

Security is tight now so I guess it will not be easy to explore by myself. Really wanted to see for myself the unique structure of the building. Have always liked the older projects cos units are much much bigger then the pigeon holes we have now......

More of the interior in its glorious days......

Panorama view from the top units....

Me time

Nothing beats a warm peppermint mocha with a muffin on this raining afternoon.... :)
